March 21, 2010 Sunday Afternoon Gathering in Duncan -

From my BLOG entry on March 22, 2010, I describe the wonderful Sunday afternoon gathering of a few people that have one of my dogs that I have placed years ago as a puppy (Mandi, Lily, Megan, Megan), and a couple of retired show dogs (Becky & Haley). We gathered in Duncan BC (which is in-between Victoria and Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island). I was over for the weekend for a dog structure seminar and we took the opportunity to get together while I was over from the Lower Mainland. I brought a 5.5 month old puppy with me (who was recently fully stripped out so has very little hair in these photos) - Monty had a blast with his older welshie friends!

I just had to take these photos (above) - what CUTE faces! Lily to the left and Megan T to the right!

| The above 2 pictures are the 'families'. The picture on the left are the 2 7 year old sisters (both named Megan!). The picture on the right is Becky (2nd from the right), with 2 of her daughters - Mandi on the far right and Lily just left of Becky. Haley, while not part of this direct family (on the far left) was there also ... and Monty who was being walked by John (who owns Lily with Jane) is at the far back (also not part of Becky's direct family). | |

Here's Mandi with Wendy's 4 year old granddaughter - very sweet girl!
It looks like Haley (below) has adjusted to her new home well, and is still wearing her homemade patriotic sweater to help celebrate Vancouver 2010 Olympics! Yeah Josie - A+ for your efforts! Much better than I could ever do!
And then we headed back to our cars to get some well deserved dinner!
We'll do this again! It turns out that Kate and Jane and (a few others I think) have organized a BIG Darwyn Welshie Walk for the following weekend in Victoria ... I'll try to make it over, but not sure I can. I hope so! Love you guys!
