Olivia whelped 6 healthy MONTY sired puppies!

Monty is, of course, Ch Darwyn Bruhil's Flying Circus

and Olivia is from Florida and is Am Ch Redragon's Miss Bolivia

Congratulations to Fred and Patty Adams of Florida (click here for their website -  Redragon Welsh Terriers) who bred and own Olivia.  Michael and I are thrilled for you.  We really enjoyed your visit to our home in March 2011 when you brought your gorgeous girl to be bred to our boy Monty.  I STILL have not yet done Mr. Monty's web page - but I WILL, and when I do, I'll update the relevant links here.

*Note:  all of the new pictures will be added to the bottom of this page.

This page is all about the Olivia and Monty puppies that were born in May 2011!

For puppy inquiries for this litter, please contact Fred and Patty directly - click here for their contact information. - I put this page together because I am so excited about these puppies!  Both the sire and dam are gorgeous Welsh Terriers, with great dispositions, and complimentary pedigrees.  If any of these puppies continue on in the show ring, or performance events, I will periodically update this page with that information and pictures.  I HOPE THEY DO!

In each March 2011, Fred flew to our home in British Columbia (Canada) from his home in Florida (US) with Miss Olivia in a carry-on bag.  They arrived safe and sound and spent a few days with us.  When Fred first contacted me, and I looked into who his girl was that he wanted to breed, I was thrilled - she looked beautiful in her photos, and while I didn't know Fred and Patty well, I knew that they were very active in the Welsh Terrier Club of America, were accomplished owner-breeder-handlers (and not afraid of showing their own dogs at our National Specialty at Montgomery!).  And, from what I have seen, they are well respected, known for caring well for their dogs and are very particular about who got their puppies.  By the sounds of it, if you get a Redragon puppy (just like if you get a Dawyn puppy), you are a very lucky person.

Well, when Fred arrived and brought Olivia out of her bag -- I was so happy I could cry!  A beautiful example of the breed.  And, over the next few days getting to know her, I experienced the 'Olivia difference' - a very easy going, loving girl that was a joy to have around here.  She settled right in and let Michael and I enjoy her company.  Clearly she is loved very much by Fred and Patty.  She has a lot to offer the breed, and we were hoping that our boy Monty would be part of all of that!

Well, Monty was very obliging. And over the next few days when we weren't breeding dogs,  I was happy to explore a few of the Vancouver sights with Fred.

On May 3, 2011 I woke-up to the following email:
"We were up all night. Olivia had her puppies! There are 3 boys and 3 girls. They range in weight from 8.2 (first boy) to 5.8 (second girl). They all look very healthy and Olivia is feeding them now. She had a fairly easy time and seems to be doing quite well. On the other hand we are bushed! We'll keep you posted."

YIPPEE!

Since that time, everything has been going very well.  It's been an easy litter for Fred and Patty, healthy puppies and promising.  Photos will be added below as they come in!  **note - I will do my best to update this - or check out Fred's website or Redragon Facebook page.  :-)

I certainly am enjoying Monty's second sired litter (from afar - but, these days with the internet, not that far!).  Given how *very nice* Monty's first sired litter is (bred to my girl, Dora - Darwyn's Dora the Explorer), I am very excited for Fred and Patty!
Here you go - enjoy!

As Fred told me, the puppies just lined up one day like this.  So cute!

And here is a slide show of all of the pictures that I have received from Fred and Patty about these wonderful 6 puppies!  You'll need to click the play button to see all fo the photos....

ENJOY!
